An established multidisciplinary consultancy based in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their expanding team. This consultancy works with prestigious public and private sector clients across the UK and Europe, providing end-to-end support across a wide range of projects.As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex construction and development schemes from inception through to completion. With a strong pipeline of work already secured, this role will suit a proactive and technically confident Project Manager looking to make their next career move.The Project Manager’s RoleThe successful Project Manager will take a client-facing position across a variety of commercial, education, residential, and public sector projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all project deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Your day-to-day duties will include preparing project plans and programmes, managing risk, chairing meetings, coordinating professional teams, and maintaining client relationships. The role also involves regular site visits and oversight of contractor performance.The Project Manager
  • Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline (e.g. Construction Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or Civil Engineering)
  • Chartered or working towards chartership (e.g. MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB) is desirable
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a consultancy or client-side Project Manager role
  • Proven track record delivering construction projects from pre-contract to handover
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
