Do you have experience supporting children with SEMH or challenging behaviours?Are you looking for a new rewarding role within an inclusive secondary school?Teaching Personnel are working closely alongside our client secondary school in Salford to appoint a resilient and passionate behaviour support assistant to join their team.
  • Start date in October 2025.
  • Full-time position, Monday -Friday, 8.30am – 3.00pm.
  • Earn between £1790 - £1900 per month, depending on experience.
  • Support children aged 11-16 on a 1:1 and small group basis.
Within this role, you will be responsible for a caseload of students who identify as displaying challenging behaviour and require additional support within the mainstream setting. You will encourage the students to engage in learning by implementing alternative support strategies which cater for the students individual learning style.You will build strong rapport and professional working relationships with students to be able to offer emotional support for students who are finding the mainstream education environment difficult. You will have strong behaviour management skills which work to calm students down and maintain a controlled and enjoyable learning environment.Our client school is located in Swinton and close to surrounding areas such as Bolton and Manchester City Centre.
