· We will buy you an EV and install a charger for you as well as paying for you to charge itJOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, Lighting / ConstructionThe tender market in construction is competitive - but we boast a conversion rate over 60% already. I guess it helps being part of the UK's largest privately family owned lighting group. As our Sales Manager, you will help us to develop a robust sales strategy in your region selling into high-end specifications customers such as architects and MEP consultants.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, Lighting / Construction· Build relationships with lighting designers, architects, specification customers and electrical installers
· Keep abreast with market trends and patterns, competitor analysis and tendering opportunities
· Build on an existing territory with massive sales growth potential - providing an applications based sales approach to suit each customer
· Manage your existing key customers to maintain and grow sales by meeting their individual expectations
· Be able to generate your own new leads with prospective customers to grow your sales territoryYOUR BACKGROUND: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, Lighting / Construction· You will have experience selling an electrical product into a high-end specification customer base such MEP consultants and architects. Ideally, that will be related to lighting products or electrical components / electrical systems
· A track record in selling through specification via competitive tenders, from a cradle to grave approach
· Led large tender bids
· New business and account management experience
