Due to a recent retirement, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to manage our region of East Anglia, Northern Home Counties and London. You will have previous experience of selling into high-end specification customers in the construction industry such as architects and MEP consultants. Ideally, you will have sold lighting solutions or electrical components. This territory has huge growth potential for you, paying uncapped commission!BASIC SALARY: Up to £55,000BENEFITS:

· Due to the territory covered, we are flexible on where you live - but it will likely be within Essex, Herfordshire, Bedfordshire. Buckinghamshire, Middlesex, Suffolk or Cambridgeshire so you are well situated to cover inside and out of the M25.

I guess it helps being part of the UK's largest privately family owned lighting group. As our Sales Manager, you will help us to develop a robust sales strategy in your region selling into high-end specifications customers such as architects and MEP consultants.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, Lighting / Construction· Build relationships with lighting designers, architects, specification customers and electrical installers
· Keep abreast with market trends and patterns, competitor analysis and tendering opportunities
· Build on an existing territory with massive sales growth potential - providing an applications based sales approach to suit each customer
· Manage your existing key customers to maintain and grow sales by meeting their individual expectations
· Be able to generate your own new leads with prospective customers to grow your sales territoryYOUR BACKGROUND: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, Lighting / Construction· You will have experience selling an electrical product into a high-end specification customer base such MEP consultants and architects. Ideally, that will be related to lighting products or electrical components / electrical systems
· A track record in selling through specification via competitive tenders, from a cradle to grave approach
· Led large tender bids
· New business and account management experience
