Our client is currently seeking a Infrastructure Planners to join their team in Liverpool. This role offers an opportunity for professionals with a background in Town Planning and Infrastructure to work on major projects across the UK.Key skills required for this roleMinimum RTPI qualifiedImportanthttps://www.matchtech.com/Job descriptionKey Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the planning team on a diverse range of infrastructure projects
  • Preparing consent applications and managing specific aspects of these projects
  • Drafting reports and engaging with clients and key stakeholders
  • Leading the planning consenting process from feasibility to implementation phases
  • Collaborating with engineers, environmental teams, and communication specialists
  • Ensuring project delivery in accordance with clients' objectives and timescales
  • Producing outputs required to support infrastructure consenting or planning policy
  • Managing projects with a focus on profitable project delivery
Job Requirements:
  • Degree and/or masters in Town Planning and a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI)
  • Good knowledge of relevant planning legislation and planning policy
  • Experience in developing working relationships within an organisation and in external forums
  • Strong project management skills with a successful record in planning and delivery of projects
  • Commercial and financial management skills
  • Experience in business development and successful bidding for projects
  • Ability to articulate complex issues concisely, write reports, and present effectively
  • Strong management of client relationships
