The post-holder provides strategic insight on performance, risks, and trends to support decision-making across the organisation and its supply chain.As a Head of Project Controls, you will need to have/be:
  • Proven experience leading project controls on large, complex programmes.
  • Expertise in scheduling, cost, change, and risk management.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, influencing, and senior-level reporting.
  • Familiarity with NEC contracts and project controls systems (e.g. Primavera P6, Prism).

Role of Head of Project Controls:
  • Leading project controls functions including schedule, cost, change, and risk management.
  • Ensuring compliance with programme management standards and processes.
  • Managing and assuring project controls data across multiple delivery partners.
  • Driving integration of baselines, dependencies, and performance reporting.
  • Leading risk and change management processes and providing strategic analysis to senior stakeholders.
  • Line-managing and developing a large team of project controls professionals.
