● Concierge services such as administrative support, dry cleaning coordination, transportation bookings, and securing tickets for exclusive eventsRole Overview:As a Member Experience Porter, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our members and visitors by ensuring seamless daily operations, assisting with client requests, and maintaining high standards of building upkeep and outdoor areas. Your responsibilities will include supporting external operations such as handling umbrellas during adverse weather, coordinating transportation, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring all communal areas remain pristine.Key Responsibilities:● Provide a warm and professional welcome to members and guests, assisting with requests to enhance their experience.
● Assist members with concierge services such as handling luggage, managing dry cleaning collections, and organising transportation.
● Coordinate external operations, including greeting arriving vehicles, assisting with door service, and escorting guests when required.
● Offer assistance with umbrellas and wet-weather provisions to ensure client comfort during adverse weather conditions.
● Support the reception team by handling deliveries, distributing packages, and assisting members with moving or carrying items when necessary.
Building Operations & Maintenance:
● Conduct regular checks of communal areas-the entrance, the garden, and the gym-to maintain a premium standard of cleanliness and presentation.
● Ensure external areas remain tidy and welcoming, including maintaining outdoor furniture, clearing debris, and handling deliveries professionally.
● Work closely with the facilities, security, and cleaning teams to uphold seamless building operations.
● Report any maintenance or operational concerns promptly to the General Manager and coordinate necessary actions.
● Monitor stock levels of essential supplies and liaise with the reception team to ensure replenishments are ordered in a timely manner.
Health, Safety & Security:
● Support building security by maintaining awareness of client and visitor movements within the premises.
● Assist in implementing health and safety procedures, ensuring emergency exits remain clear, and responding to any issues swiftly.
● Ensure compliance with safety protocols, assisting members and guests in the event of evacuations or emergencies.
● Ensure full compliance with all operational procedures and training requirements. Complete all necessary health and safety training as mandated by the business, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of safety protocols and best practices.
Brand Representation & Client Engagement:
● Act as the face of Marsham Club, consistently demonstrating professionalism, sophistication, and a proactive attitude.
● Uphold brand values by maintaining a polished appearance and ensuring all client interactions reflect a high level of service.
● Confidently communicate the unique benefits of our office spaces to visitors and members.
● Engage with members to enhance their overall experience, ensuring they feel valued and well-informed.Requirements:● Previous experience in a five-star hotel or similar high-end service environment is mandatory.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional presentation.
● Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
