£40-48,000 plus car packageA market leading high risk industrial processing organisation is seeking three Health & Safety Managers to form a new national "Centre of Excellence" for Health & Safety. The company is looking for H&S Managers to lead on policy and standards, assurance and governance or continuous improvement. The position is home based with national travel expected.The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining the company's new health & safety management system.
- Investigating and providing actional objectives for serious incidents and high profile near misses.
- Providing input into tender submissions, customer presentations and completion of accreditation schemes.
- Leading internal audits of the effectiveness of the company's Health & Safety processes and procedures.
- Minimum five years Health & Safety experience in a high-risk industry.
- Experience of implementing ISO 45001
- Experience leading internal investigations into serious and/or complex incidents.
- A health & safety background in any of the following areas: assurance & governance, policy & standards, skills & competence or continuous improvement.
