As an Accounts Apprentice at Cromwell Polythene Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance team with various accounting tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the company's financial activities. This apprentice role is designed to provide you with a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices while allowing you to gain hands-on experience within the finance department.This is a great opportunity to kickstart your career in finance, whilst working towards a recognised accounting qualification (AAT or CIMA).ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support daily banking, cash flow monitoring and reconciliation.
  • Assisting with credit control and routine cash collection.
  • Respond to finance queries from sales.
  • Updating and maintaining the accounting system to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Assisting with month-end closing procedures.
  • Engaging in bookkeeping activities and record-keeping.
  • Any other finance-related duties as assigned by the finance team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSExcellent GCSE results in Maths and English (Grade 6 or above)Cromwell Polythene offers a Cromwell Curriculum that ensures new starters gain internal qualifications through modular learning.
