Academics is seeking a dedicated IT Instructor to provide PPA cover at a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Slough.About the Role:
As an IT Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging IT lessons across the school, providing high-quality PPA cover, and supporting class teachers to ensure every child has access to an inspiring and creative curriculum.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-planned IT lessons across KS1 and KS2 during PPA time
- Support classroom activities and curriculum delivery
- Work closely with the teaching team to raise attainment and engagement
- Contribute to whole-school IT initiatives and digital learning strategies
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- HLTA qualification, teaching assistant qualification, or relevant IT teaching experience
- Strong background in primary education, ideally with an IT specialism
- Confidence delivering lessons independently across all year groups
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A proactive and flexible approach to teaching and learning
