- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients' health conditions
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities as needed
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care
- Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established protocols
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Relevant caregiving certifications preferred
- Previous experience in homecare or similar caregiving role not necessary but desired
- Strong personal care skills and basic medical knowledge
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- High level of empathy and emotional intelligence
- Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and transfers
- Understanding of elderly care and common health conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
