Civils Estimator

Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for highways and civil engineering projects
- Price from first principles using estimating software (e.g. Conquest)
- Conduct site visits and assess project-specific requirements
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Attend tender meetings and support smooth project handovers
- Monitor market trends and gather site feedback to improve accuracy
Requirements:
- Proven estimating experience in highways/civils/infrastructure
- Strong NEC4 contract knowledge
- Comfortable with take-offs, CAD drawings, and job-specific pricing
- Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
Package:
- £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Car allowance or company vehicle
