Job Title: Fire and Security Service EngineerLocation: LondonRate: £220 p/dayWe are looking for a skilled Fire and Security Service Engineer to carry out service and reactive callouts for CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems. This role will involve travelling around London and the surrounding counties, providing essential support and maintenance to ensure system functionality and client satisfaction.Description of contract/programme of works:
  • Conduct routine service and maintenance on CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems.
  • Respond to reactive service calls and address any faults or issues.
  • Ensure all systems are working correctly, and carry out repairs where necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and providing solutions.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and service work performed.
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Experience required:
  • Proven experience in service and maintenance of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues on-site with minimal downtime.
  • Previous experience working in security engineering roles is essential.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
  • DBS essential.
  • ECS/CSCS card is beneficial.
  • Relevant industry qualifications (such as City & Guilds) are desirable.
  • IPAF certification is advantageous.
  • Full UK driving license is required.
  • Hand tools and power tools for installations and service work.
  • Battery testers and multi-metre for testing systems.
  • Steps and ladders for accessing equipment.
