- Develop and implement personalised educational programs based on a curriculum that centres around students needs.- Work with individualised care plans to maximise student potential, development and success.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and educational psychologists.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting approaches as the SEN Teacher in the classroom.
- Engage with parents and caregivers to support student development at home and in school.- Work with and lead a support team within the classroomSEN Teacher Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of ASD and SLD.
- Experience working in a primary education setting is preferred.
