As a Registered Mental Health Nurse at K&W Healthcare Ltd, you will play a pivotal role within a multi-disciplinary team in assessing, planning, and delivering individualized care to patients with diverse mental health conditions. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure the highest standards of care are maintained, promoting recovery and enhancing the quality of life for our patients.Main duties of the jobKey Responsibilities:
  • Undertake holistic assessments of patients health needs using an evidence-based framework and be able to assess and use sound clinical knowledge.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Monitor therapeutic response to prescribed medications and monitor their effectiveness, adhering to prescribed protocols.
  • Mental Health Assessments: Clinicians should have experience in completing mental health assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions in community settings
  • Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, contributing to care planning and service development.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation, including the Mental Health Act.
  • Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence-based care

  • Knowledge of current mental health legislation and best practices.
Desirable Qualification:
  • Certification in Management of Actual or Potential Aggression (MAPA) or Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA).
  • Experience in specialized areas such as eating disorders, addictions, or child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS).
  • Community experience in mental health services for adults and older age adults with severe / significant mental illness
