For individuals who can take the initiative but work well within a team.The roleAs a Senior QHSSE Advisor you will provide day-to-day QHSSE advice and active assistance within the Business Unit, department, vessel and/or project. You will ensure that good standards and practices are identified, developed, implemented, and adhered to. The role will be office based, but with frequent travel to sites, projects and vessels. You will assist and deputise for the QHSSE Manager when they are not available. You will provide the QHSSE Manager and the business units with regular HSSE information through meetings, reports and bulletins. You will act as the focal point for HSSE information for Aberdeen based operations whilst being supported by other HSSE Advisors and the wider Regional and Global QHSSE teams​.You will support project management with the development and review of project documentation and client interface whilst supporting line management to investigate incidents and, where directed undertake the investigation/lead the investigation team.You will assist in the day-to-day development of QHSSE documentation and Business Management System. You will assist in the reporting and communication of QHSSE performance and maintenance of Fugro Impact reporting system, whereby reviewing incidents, Non-Conformance Reviews and the follow up of actions. You will assist in provision of QHSSE coaching / training as required and raise awareness of and promote the corporate HSSE culture and HSSE programmes and objectives whilst also acting as Subject Matter Expert on areas of specific knowledge.You will provide QHSSE support in tender or pre-qualification processes as required. You will provide guidance and information on QHSSE legislation and issues. You will liaise with Group and sister company QHSSE departments on matters relating to common systems implementation. You will assist in reviews of Subcontractor Risk Assessments and Method Statements.You will facilitate Hazard Identification & Risk Analysis (HIRA) and Risk Assessment meetings. You will complete site and vessel visits. You will perform internal and external audits and follow up on the findings. You will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out emergency testing and drills, including Emergency Response.You will also support occupational health and wellbeing requirements and initiatives.Who we’re looking for:The ideal candidate for this role will have relevant experience of working in an HSE operational support role with relevant skills and experience within an Offshore work environment. You will also have a good understanding of ISO 9001, 14001and 45001.You must be a self-starter and confident to work independently. You must also be willing to travel to various locations.
