Job Title: Youth Support Worker Location: Weston-Super-Mare Pay Rate: £89 per day Contract: Flexible - part-time, full-time, temporary or long-term Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome challenges and achieve their potential? We are seeking a Youth Support Worker to join schools in Weston-Super-Mare, providing essential guidance and encouragement to students who may need extra support. The Role: You'll work directly with young people to: • Offer practical and emotional support on a daily basis • Build positive relationships to help develop confidence and resilience • Support individuals with social, emotional, or behavioural needs • Encourage participation in education and wider activities • Help manage conflict and provide crisis support when required • Collaborate with teachers, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes What We're Looking For: We're seeking someone who is caring, patient, and motivated to make a difference. Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential. Experience in youth work, education, or social care is beneficial but not essential - training and support will be provided.
