When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.We have a fantastic opportunity for Environmental Assurance Specialist.Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.The RoleWe're looking for an experienced Environmental Assurance Specialist to join the growing Sizewell C project one of the most significant low-carbon infrastructure projects in the UK. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of sustainable energy while protecting and enhancing the environment throughout a major infrastructure build.As part of the Environment Team, you will play a key role in assuring compliance with environmental commitments, helping deliver robust environmental performance, and supporting the delivery of a world-class nuclear power station.The Skills
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in environmental assurance, auditing, or compliance in large infrastructure or energy projects.
  • Strong understanding of UK environmental legislation, permits, and regulatory frameworks.
  • ISO 14001 Internal/Lead Auditor qualification (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a complex, fast-paced project environment.
