- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
- Plan and assess learning in line with the national curriculum and department guidelines.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages scientific enquiry and critical thinking.
- Use a range of strategies to support student progress and classroom behaviour.
- Contribute to department planning, development, and extra-curricular science activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide feedback to students and parents.
- QTS, ECT status, or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
- A specialism in Science with strong subject knowledge in one or more disciplines.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A passion for teaching and inspiring students in science.
- The ability to work effectively within a team and engage with the wider school community.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
- Competitive salary between £30,000 and £50,000, based on experience and qualifications.
