Diagnostic Radiographer Band 5 (Annex 20)OrSpecialist Radiographer Band 6 - depending on experienceApplications are invited from a suitably qualified diagnostic Radiographer wishing to join the Ninewells Radiology General X-ray team with a focus on Cardiology. The applicant will receive full training in Cardiology Radiography. The successful applicant will be expected to work as part of the team providing the radiographic element of the Primary PCI service. Shift patterns are currently predominantly on a rotating roster; however, this service may also require an on-call component.If the successful candidate is employed at Band 5 level, they will be expected to achieve predetermined standards before becoming eligible for Band 6 status.Applicants must hold an appropriate diagnostic radiography qualification and be HCPC registered.Previous experience in Angiography would be an advantage.Informal enquiries to:Euan ClipstonNHST Principal Radiographer - Generaleuan.clipston@nhs.scot01382 740502 Internal ext: 34175Hours of work are: 37 hours per week. 08:30-20:00, 20:00-08:30 and weekend shifts of 0800-2000, 2000-0800.
