Secondary schools in the Braintree area are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team!About the Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping pupils thrive in their learning environment. Whether it's providing one-to-one support, working with small groups, or assisting with classroom activities, your contribution will help create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.Key Responsibilities:
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning
- Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources
- Encourage student participation and monitor progress
- Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy
- Support children with additional needs, where required
- Previous experience working with children ideally in an educational setting.
- Has a positive attitude and a genuine passion for education
- Is patient, caring, and able to build strong relationships with students
- Has good communication and teamwork skills
- Is flexible and able to use their initiative
- (Desirable) Holds a relevant TA qualification or has previous experience working in a school setting
