Prospero Teaching is seeking a nurturing and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join a supportive SEN school in Liverpool. This position is ideal for a qualified teacher who has experience working with pupils who have a range of complex needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.You will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised lessons, managing a small class with the support of experienced SEN teaching assistants, and ensuring that each child progresses academically and socially.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching & Planning: Create and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with pupils’ EHCPs and the National CurriculumIndividual Support: Provide targeted support to pupils with varying SEN profiles, adapting teaching methods accordinglyAssessment & Progress Tracking: Monitor, assess, and report on student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment toolsClassroom Environment: Establish a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes independence and confidenceTeam Collaboration: Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, therapists, and parents/carers to ensure a holistic approach to each childs developmentBehaviour Management: Implement positive behaviour strategies and support students in developing social and emotional skillsSafeguarding: Ensure all safeguarding and child protection policies are adhered to at all timesProfessional Development: Take part in ongoing CPD and stay informed on best practices in SEN and inclusive educationWe Offer:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentExperience teaching in a primary setting, preferably with SENStrong understanding of differentiation and inclusive teaching strategiesCalm, empathetic, and flexible approach to teachingExcellent classroom management and communication skillsTo Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:
