Financial Controller

• Prepare Financial Accounts: Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial accounts to the board on a monthly basis, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
• Collaborate with Management: Work alongside senior management to enhance financial processes, systems, and controls, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
• Data Reporting & Insights: Provide valuable weekly reports and analysis, offering insights to support business strategy and decision-making.
• Compliance & Regulatory Management: Ensure the company meets all regulatory, tax, and compliance requirements, while mitigating financial risks.
• Support External Accountants: Assist with external audits, providing required documentation and facilitating smooth audit processes.
• VAT Returns Management: Oversee quarterly VAT returns, manage foreign VAT processes, and ensure accurate import documentation.
• Cash Flow Forecasting: Prepare and present a 12-week cash forecast to ensure financial liquidity and assist in cash flow management.
• Daily Financial Monitoring: Maintain daily cash collection and supplier payment reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Budget Performance Review: Update the leadership team monthly on budget vs. actual performance, identifying discrepancies and proposing corrective actions.
