Reports To: Finishing Shift ManagerLocation: CreweHours: Weekend Nights (Friday: 6.45pm-6.45am, Saturday: 6pm-6am & Sunday: 6am-6pm)📌 OverviewWe're looking for a skilled Finishing (Gluing) Operator to safely and efficiently run gluing machines for carton production 📦. In this hands-on role, you'll ensure high product quality, perform regular checks ✅, and support maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Duties
- Set up and operate gluing machines for various carton styles (e.g. straight line, crash lock, tray lock)
- Install and configure machine components per job specs
- Monitor machine performance and product quality, making adjustments as needed
- Conduct visual checks for glue application, creases, and overall finish
- Collaborate with Finishing Assistants to maintain safety and workflow
- Perform line clearances, routine maintenance, and safety checks
- Follow QA and safety procedures aligned with ISO, BRC, FSC, and other standards

- 🎓 GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- ✔️ Previous experience as a Gluing Operator
- Knowledge of QA and Health & Safety procedures
