EstimatorThis is a great opportunity for an Estimator to join a well established Civils and Construction Contractor who operate throughout the UK but have a number of Regional Offices. They are looking for an Estimator join the North West office.As your role as an Estimator you will be working you will be joining the commercial team working on projects relating to the business on both Civils and Construction projects.This company are forward thinking, offer great training and development opportunities and are recognised for their great culture, which puts their people first.Key responsibilities for this Estimator role:
  • Provide a comprehensive estimating service controlling either an assigned project and/or a portfolio of projects.
  • Proactively lead and take part in discussions and negotiations with suppliers and sub-contractors during the tender process.
  • Lead and take part in pre-tender discussions / sign off with senior colleagues.
  • Lead and take part in discussions with Client’s designated personnel and attending pre/post-tender meetings.
  • Keeping up to date knowledge of inflation, exchange rates and projected timescale costs.
  • Obtain feedback from site teams on estimating adequacy and currents costs.
Experience required for this Estimator role:
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Civils Experience
  • Construction experience would be an advantage
  • Full Valid UK driving licence
Package offered for this Estimator role:£40,000-£55,000 Depending on experience (this is potentially negotiable for the right individual)
