- The school seeks a Youth Worker within schools who will be confident, empathetic, patient and caring.
- providing support and guidance to the students in their variety of learning needs and assistance with personal care / moving and handling with hoists.
- A Youth Worker will have flexibility in handling sudden changes in routine or behaviour.
- Delivering Classroom support to children aged 4-19 years old on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
- Building a trustworthy and long-lasting relationship with students, enabling them to reach their full potential whilst shining bright.
- The school is a Community School for children with SEN. The school teaches children from 4 to 19 years old in small classes and a one to one basis.

- Experience in Classroom Support (Preferable)

- Experience with both small group and 1:1 is beneficial
- Friendly and nurturing qualities.
- Competent behaviour management skills.
- Familiarity with a range of needs (e.g., ASD - Autistic Spectrum Disorder, SLD - Severe Learning Difficulty and PMLD - Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty).
- Preferably moving and handling training or have recent experience in this.
- Have a patient and caring nature.
- Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- Willing to complete CPD training.
- Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- Excellent daily rates paid weekly by our in-house Payroll team using the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system.
