Location: 10 minutes from Uxbridge / ~40 minutes via public transport
Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00, Fri 08:00-12:00 (37 hours per week)
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x basic rate (5-10 hours per week available)

Type: PermanentWe're recruiting a Mechanical Inspector for a global aerospace manufacturer near Uxbridge. You'll be part of a quality-first team, inspecting precision-engineered components that are used in safety-critical applications worldwide.Why apply?

- Inspect machined and goods-in components using precision tools (verniers, calipers, micrometers)
- Interpret engineering drawings and check components to tight tolerances
- Complete inspection documentation with high accuracy
- Record data in SAP and document non-conformances
- Work to aerospace quality standards
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
- Skilled in precision measuring equipment (metric and imperial)
- Previous experience in Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, or Subcontract Manufacturing
- CMM/PC-DMIS experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Knowledge of Hexagon Laser Scanning Arm is a bonus
