
Innovation and Development Specialist - London Air Ambulance

- Medical qualification (including, but not limited to medical, nursing or paramedic degree, bachelor's or master's degree of relevance)
- GCP for clinical trials
- Qualification or experience in Education or Training, Project management and/ or Innovation
- Demonstrate an understanding of non-technical skills related to patient safety
- Experience of other pre-hospital care or retrieval medicine systems
- Demonstrate a history of engagement with clinical governance systems
- Specialist knowledge within domain of specialist role
- Demonstrable knowledge of contemporary acute trauma and/ or cardiac arrest care
- Familiarity with prehospital care and working environment
- IT competent and familiarity with standard, commonly used programmes e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Have a demonstrable commitment to audit, research and quality improvement or quality assurance
- Experience of teaching and training and confidence to teach complex technical skills and decision making to senior experienced clinicians
- Experience of participating in high quality research activity including data collection, statistical analysis, abstract and manuscript preparation
- Ability to apply research outcomes to clinical problems encountered in prehospital care
- Evidence of excellent presentational and verbal skills
- Ability to manage time well
- Evidence of ability to integrate well into a team
- Self-motivated with an enquiring, critical approach to work
