We are seeking a Section Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects across East Anglia, initially focused on road schemes in Harwich and Leiston. This role is key to progressing site works, managing setting out activities, and supporting quality and commercial requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with site management to complete quality take-offsIdentify commercial risks or opportunities on the projectPrepare risk assessments and method statements, highlighting control measuresConduct site inspections and testing to ensure works meet design and specificationMentor and support junior engineersManage site setting out and surveying using Leica/Geomax equipmentMaintain and issue service drawings and permitsProvide records and data to support commercial claims and project trackingManage as-built data and contribute to health and safety file completionEnsure works comply with company procedures and safety, quality, and environmental standardsRequirementsStrong setting out experience on highways, roads, or earthworks projectsProficient with Leica/Geomax and AutoCAD data transferGood understanding of ITPs, QA processes, and construction practicesFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Eastern regionStrong leadership, organisational, and communication skillsFirst Aid at Work qualification desirableBenefitsLife assurance (4x salary)Company car or car allowanceMatched pension scheme (up to 8%)25 days holiday plus bank holidays (with option to purchase more)Employee benefits platform and assistance programmeExtensive training and development supportCycle-to-work schemeRegular social events and charity activitiesEarly finish every FridaySupportive team and clear career progression path
