Hours: 3 hours per day Monday – Friday – 5.30am – 08.30am (15 hours per week)KUSCO (Kingston University Service Company Ltd) is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Kingston University, established in December 1997!It is a non-profit making organisation providing facility management services to Kingston University.We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Early Morning Cleaner to join our friendly us!You’ll help ensure our classrooms, offices, laboratories, lecture theatres, and communal areas are spotless and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.This is a hands-on role where you’ll work independently, using your initiative to deliver high cleaning standards, while also being part of a supportive cleaning team.As one of our Cleaners you will be responsible for:
- Cleaning and tidying allocated areas, including classrooms, offices, laboratories, lecture theatres, workshops, corridors, and toilets, in line with service standards.
- Carrying out floor polishing and deep cleaning when required.
- Emptying bins and dispose of waste correctly.
- Keeping cleaning equipment and storage areas clean, tidy, and secure.
- Reporting supply needs, building issues, or health & safety concerns.
- Taking care of keys for your working areas and follow security procedures.
- Undertaking training to ensure safe use of equipment and meet Health & Safety requirements.
- Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning duties.
- Smart appearance (protective clothing and uniform provided).
- Flexible and adaptable to different cleaning routines and areas.
- Able to work with minimal supervision, using initiative.
