As a Randstad employee, you'll have a dedicated consultant who understands your career goals and will help you find local roles that fit your availability.Role ResponsibilitiesAs a SEN Teacher, you will deliver personalised, inclusive lessons to children with a range of learning needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD), and Complex Learning Needs (CLD).Your Duties Will Include:
- Creating and teaching differentiated lessons to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Developing and implementing lesson plans that follow the P Scales framework.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement.
- Using creative and resilient teaching strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Assisting students with personal care routines as needed.
- You must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- The legal right to work in the UK is required (we cannot offer sponsorship).
- You must have a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Previous experience supporting SEN pupils in UK schools is essential.
- Strong behavior management and communication skills are a must.
- The ability to work Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, is necessary.
