This is a unique opportunity to work as an assistant psychologist embedded in probation offices under the guidance and supervision of qualified psychologists from St Andrew's Healthcare.Within this role you will support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the Criminal Justice System (CJS); providing psychological assessment and psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist, working independently according to a plan agreed with the psychologist and within the overall framework MHTRs, and St Andrew's policies and procedures.Due to the autonomy of the role, it is desirable that applicants have experience working as an Assistant Psychologist before and a relevant Master's degree in psychology. It is a requirement that they are eligible for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society.The role will be located across Maidstone and West Kent, offering face to face interventions, though some remote sessions will be offered virtually to meet the needs and preference of clients.
