Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs, helping them stay engaged and feel secure Implement strategies that encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and self-confidence Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to deliver personalised support plans Build trusting relationships with pupils, offering consistency, encouragement, and guidance throughout the school day Contribute to creating a calm, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment Person Specification Experience supporting children with SEMH or other additional needs, or a strong commitment to this area A calm, patient, and proactive approach with the resilience to work in a high-need setting Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset A genuine interest in helping children develop social, emotional, and academic skills Experience in specialist or therapeutic settings is advantageous, but full training will be provided About the School This SEND school provides a structured, therapeutic, and pupil-centred environment for children with SEMH, Autism, and ADHD.
