Berry Recruitment are looking for 2x Furniture Delivery Drivers in the Brackley area on behalf of our well-established client,Pay - £13.08ph PAYEDays - Monday to FridayHours - 8am to 4.30pmYou will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery, installation and collection of United States Air Force household furniture and appliances to various destinations of residence across the UK.Duties -Safe loading of the vehicles in a manner to cause no damage to any items or vehicles, with proper weight distributionCheck all items against a manifest to ensure all items are present and completeTo deliver furniture into servicemen’s homes and position the items as desired by the customer causing no damage to the propertyTo install, test and demonstrate white goods in customers’ homes, ensuring no damage or leaks from the appliance’sThe role will also require you to carry out warehouse duties to include cleaning and testing of white goodsAssist in ensuring the Lease Vehicles are cleaned and maintained to meet company standardsAssist in arranging deliveries and collections to suit customer requirements with best valueMaintain excellent interpersonal skills at all times as you will be dealing with customers during the stressful period of moving homeThe ability to multi-task to assist in other contracted areas – learning various roles and skills, for which training will be providedEnsure that the cleanliness of all furniture and appliances meets the required standardYou will be responsible for the safe custody of tools, equipment, appliances and furniture in your chargeAble to work as part of a teamBe physically fit and able to lift heavy itemsMUST HAVE AT LEAST 6 MONTHS DRIVING EXPERIENCE AND DROVE A VEHICLE THE SAME SIZE OR LARGER FOR 60 DAYS WITHIN THE LAST 6 MONTHSIf you are interested, please contact the National Branch on 0203 098 3398 or send your CVPlease note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person's gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
