Job Title: Pharmacy Technician / Quality Assurance Pharmacist - Aseptic Unit (Band 5-7)Location: Canterbury, Kent
Salary: Band 5-7 (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Locum / Fixed Term (18 August 2025 - 2 January 2026)
Hours: Full-timeAbout the Role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician. This role will be responsible for revalidating the aseptic unit that provides in-house chemotherapy and supports clinical trials.We welcome applications from Band 5, 6, or 7 candidates with relevant experience.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the revalidation process for the aseptic unit
  • Ensure compliance with MHRA, GMP, and other relevant quality standards
  • Oversee aseptic preparation processes for chemotherapy and clinical trials
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to maintain patient safety and service efficiency
  • Provide quality assurance support and advice to pharmacy staff
Requirements:
  • GPhC registration as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician
  • Previous experience in quality assurance within an aseptic or oncology pharmacy environment
  • Strong knowledge of GMP and quality control procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Contract Details:
  • Start Date: 18 August 2025
  • End Date: 2 January 2026
  • Location: Canterbury. Kent
  • Banding: 5, 6, or 7 (depending on experience)
