
Integration Engineer

- Contract Duration: 6 months
- Daily Rate: Outside IR35 – up to £550 p/d
- Analyse business and customer requirements to identify opportunities to improve processes through integration.
- Design and develop integration flows, APIs, and file-based solutions, including upgrades and enhancements.
- Collaborate with development and design teams to support the creation and prototyping of integration solutions.
- Automate and carry out integration testing, load testing, and performance testing, including setting up test data.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and self-service resources related to integrations.
- Monitor the performance of integrations, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely resolutions.
- Adhere to best practice standards and established processes for development, testing, and deployment.
- Use stakeholder feedback to improve existing integrations and develop new features.
- Support vendor and platform selection processes to ensure the implemented solutions meet business requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development and integration engineering.
- Strong understanding of integration design, development, testing, and debugging processes.
- Proven experience in data integration, workflow scripting, and relevant programming languages such as C#, Scala, Python, SQL.
- Practical experience with system integration technologies (e.g., RESTful APIs, SOAP, OAUTH 2.0, event brokers, data virtualisation).
- Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, Boomi.
- Experience working with Workday integrations, ServiceBus, Logic Apps, and other Azure-based integration tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced, global environment.
- Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies and frameworks.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to guide teams and coordinate work effectively.
