Asbestos Analyst/Surveyor SOCOTEC, Southwest - Dorset/Bristol/Exeter/SwindonAre you interested in Asbestos? We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join our Environment & Safety Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.We are looking for a reliable, flexible, and committed Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join our Asbestos Team. As a member of the Team, it is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a Team, as well as independently. Help us to ensure the safety of the buildings around us by identifying, monitoring and overseeing all things asbestos.The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):To undertake inspection and testing as authorised in competency matrix including one or more of the following:
  • Management surveys
  • Refurbishment surveys
  • Demolition surveys
  • Re-inspection for the purpose of asbestos management plans
  • Airborne fibre counting
  • Airborne fibre sampling
  • Four stage clearance
  • To record all inspection and test data and produce associated reports that will be subject to authorisation
  • To be alert to business opportunities and promote the services of the business
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • BOHS P402 or equivalent
  • BOHS P403 and P404 or equivalent
  • CSCS
  • SMSTS or SSSTS would be an advantage
  • Minimum of 2 years experience carrying out the role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be able to work on own initiative
  • Full UK driving licence
