We are looking for an Electronics Technician Trainee to join our Christchurch, Dorset team!Curtiss-Wright are looking an Electronics Technician Trainee to join our growing group at our state-of-the-art facility by Bournemouth Airport. As an Electronics Technician, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team, designing safety critical, real time control systems which underpin our electric vehicle controllers. Reporting to a project manager, you will be exposed to all stages of the development. You will demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop in the role.   • Diagnosing electronic systems and circuits down to a component level.
  • Population and modification of complex PCBs / circuits
  • Use of test equipment to include multi-meters, oscilloscope, signal generator, PSUs etc
Your Expertise:
  • Experience diagnosing and modifying electronics circuits
  • Understanding and making use of multi-meters, oscilloscope, signal generator, PSUs etc
  • Ability to write clear and concise technical reports
The following skills/experience would be advantageous but not essential:
  • Experience of scripting languages such as Python
  • Understanding of schematics, technical drawings
