  • Designing and assessing highway structures, including bridges, in accordance with relevant Eurocodes and standards.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance on structural engineering projects.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
  • Conducting site visits to Exeter, as well as supporting projects in Dorset and Somerset.
  • Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Mentoring and providing support to junior engineers as needed.
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in structural engineering, particularly with highway structures.
  • CEng/IEng qualification is highly desirable.
  • Good working technical knowledge and understanding of Eurocodes.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
