JOB TITLE: Procurement Administrator12 months Fixed Term Contract 20 hours per weekSalary: £12,513 - £13,541The Royal Armouries is the United Kingdom’s national museum of arms and armour and one of the most important collections of its type in the world, housed at its headquarters and flagship museum in Leeds, its historic home at the Tower of London, and the Victorian Fort Nelson in Hampshire.We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and diligent individual to provide comprehensive, professional and high-quality administrative support directly to the Procurement Officer and indirectly to managers across the wider organisation on procurement activity, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to and suitable records and audit trail are maintained.Key tasks will include the drafting of documents and reports, managing emails, maintaining records and registers, arranging and minuting meetings and publishing procurement notices. The successful candidate must be able to work flexibly, be organised and self-motivated. They must be numerate, IT literate including Excel and Word and have good communication skills. An awareness of procurement is useful but not essential as this can be taught.Hours20 hours per week Monday – Friday. There is some flexibility over which days the hours are split. Some flexibility on working pattern and/or availability to work overtime would be ideal.Benefits
