We are looking for a Research assistant to join the Institute of Population health Dementia Health and Social Care Inequalities Research group for 10 months on an NIHR-funded Programme Development Grant exploring the relationship between work and health in the paid and unpaid adult social care workforce.The research assistant will be:
  • Supporting a scoping review, including running and downloading searches, screening abstracts and full texts, data extraction
  • Recruiting participants and collecting qualitative interview data
  • Coding anonymised transcripts
  • Working with members of the public and care providers, and supporting the wider team in facilitating public consultation events and workshops
  • Joining research group activities and events, including monthly journal clubs and public outreach events
You should have an undergraduate degree in Psychology, public health, or related subject area of at least 2.1.This post is part time (0.8 FTE) and is available for 10 months and the project commences 1 September 2025.Although the university has a hybrid working system, the expectation is that the successful applicant appointed to this role will be expected to work more than 60% on campus.Commitment to DiversityThe University of Liverpool is committed to enhancing workforce diversity.
