
B1 Certifying Aircraft Engineer

- Supervision of licenced and non-licensed personnel during Base Maintenance inputs and Modification Programmes.
- Certifying of fabricated parts and or modification of structural components on company Beech 200 and 300 Series aircraft, Piper PA31 aircraft and other company aircraft.
- Assisting with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft.
- Conducting hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures.
- Removal or installation of aircraft components as required.
- Support with mechanical or electrical removals and installations as needed.
- Perform and document work completed as per the appropriate manuals and regulations stipulate.
- Ensure work is completed in a safe and timely manner, whilst helping with the upkeep of Maintenance facilities and equipment.
- Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
- Recent demonstratable experience and knowledge of Beech 200 and/or Beech 300 – or similar – Type training is available.
- Recent demonstratable experience and knowledge of Piper PA31 or Group 3 aircraft – Type training is available.
- C Certification endorsement. (desirable)
- Structural sheet metal repair or modification, or substantiated similar experience. (desirable)
- Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
- Good IT skills.
- Current Safety Training including Human Factors and proof of Initial Human Factors Training, EWIS and FTS. (desirable)
