Staff are encouraged to progress professionally, with training and development opportunities available for those keen to build a career in education.What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting students on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
- Supporting classroom teachers to deliver engaging lessons and positive learning experiences.
- Leading small group activities and one-to-one sessions to boost confidence and progress.
- Helping to nurture students’ personal and social development alongside their academic learning.
- Encouraging independence and resilience in the young people you work with.
- Previous experience supporting young people (in schools, youth work, or care) is advantageous but not essential.
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability are qualities we value highly.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students and staff.
- A genuine interest in helping young people succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
- Full-time role starting in September / October
