We are seeking a committed and resilient Secondary Teacher to join our dedicated team in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Bootle. You will work with small groups of students who present challenging behaviours, delivering lessons across the curriculum and supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across a range of subjects to meet the needs of each student.Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress.Manage behaviour effectively, maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and external agencies to provide the best outcomes for pupils.Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (PRU or alternative provision experience desirable).Ability to teach across the curriculum to small groups of learners.Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.Resilience, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching to meet individual needs.What We Offer:Small class sizes for focused teaching and learning.A supportive and passionate team environment.Opportunities for ongoing professional development.The chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people.Benefits to YOU:
