This role provides the chance to motivate pupils, promote teamwork, and deliver engaging sports sessions that support both physical fitness and personal development.As a Sports Coach, you will:
- Deliver structured PE lessons and extra-curricular sports activities.
- Encourage pupils to develop their fitness, teamwork, and resilience.
- Support students in reaching their full potential through physical education.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities when required.
- Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive sporting environment.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to students who may face barriers to learning.
- Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a coaching or educational setting.
- A recognised sports coaching qualification is desirable.
- Enthusiasm, energy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage young learners.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with explanations for any gaps.
