This is a temporary Chef role at Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK's leading healthcare providers. The role is based in Sherborne and offers a great work-life balance with day shifts only, flexible hours, and the opportunity to work at multiple locations. The successful candidate will have the chance to deliver hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts and long hours, with full autonomy in creating nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus.Main duties of the jobAs a Bank Chef at Barchester Healthcare, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, nutritious meals for the residents in our care home. You will have the opportunity to work flexible hours and at multiple locations, allowing for a better work-life balance. You will be given full autonomy in developing menus and overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for residents. The role requires a personable and warm approach, with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of the residents. You should hold a relevant culinary qualification, such as City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ, and have experience working with fresh, seasonal produce and a good understanding of nutrition.
