The Pall Mall Surgery has an opportunity for a medical secretary to join their team on a part-time basis, for 12 hours per week on Monday and Fridays days.With the increasing use of technology in general practice, medical secretaries are playing an increasingly important role in managing patient information and ensuring that healthcare providers have access to the data they need to deliver high-quality care.Main duties of the job
  • Providing a full secretarial service including the typing of letters, reports, patient referrals, meeting minutes, memorandums, etc.
  • Handling queries regarding hospital appointments and treatments.
  • Designing template letters and forms for use throughout the practice.
  • Maintaining the clinical system, in an accurate and secure manner.

We are inclusive of ideas, which makes working here enjoyable and fulfilling.We operate a total triage system at the surgery, which enables us to make quick decisions about patient care and outcomes, ensuring the most appropriate appointment is given to each patient based on symptoms.
