Multiskilled Technician (Carpentry/Plumbing)

You will carry out day to day repairs and maintenance across our housing portfolio, working independently and to a high standard. The role requires expertise in at least three trades, with carpentry and plumbing as the primary focus. You will be responsible for completing jobs efficiently, ensuring first time fixes wherever possible, and maintaining excellent customer care throughout.If successful, you’ll be provided with a company van and fuel card for business usage, work uniform, PPE and a table for your daily work schedule. Once you’ve completed a job, you’ll be expected to update all of the details into the table to ensure we can track and log all works completed.This is a mobile role covering Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire and surrounding counties. You will be based out of two key locations:Our Head Office in Wooburn Green, where you’ll attend toolbox talks, one to one meetings and company briefingsOur Stores Room and Depot in Chesham, which you’ll visit between site appointments to collect equipment, property packs and keysKey responsibilities include:Completing maintenance tasks across multiple tradesEnsuring all work meets regulatory and safety standardsManaging documentation and reporting accuratelyCommunicating effectively with tenants and colleaguesMaintaining van stock and using materials responsiblySupporting apprentices or junior staff when requiredParticipating in the out of hours on call rotaAbout You: We are looking for someone who is confident working independently and as part of a team. You will have:A relevant qualification (City and Guilds or NVQ) or equivalent experienceStrong skills in carpentry and plumbing, with additional trade experienceA good understanding of building regulations and health and safety requirementsExcellent communication and time management skillsA full valid driving licenceA commitment to delivering outstanding service to our residents.Why Join Paradigm
