HGV CLASS 2 DRIVERHours: MONDAY - FRIDAY - 05:30 - 08:00 startsPay Rate: £14.50 per hourPeople Solutions are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to make multiple deliveries for our well established client based in South Normanton, Derbyshire. This role will become permanent for the right candidate after a successful twelve-week period.Benefits:

Rates of pay:Monday to Friday £14.50 per hourDay to Day Duties:
  • Drive a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Make deliveries ranging from RDC to residential properties
  • Heavy lifting may be involved.
  • Caged deliveries to fuel stations
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Multi-drop deliveries 15 - 18 drops per day.
  • Ensure vehicle is well presented
  • Comply with driving rules and regulations
  • Be prepared for various shift lengths
Essential Skills:
  • Hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence for a minimum of 2 years
  • 2 years experience driving Class 2 vehicles
  • Hold a valid UK CPC Card
  • Hold a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
  • No major endorsement codes
  • Positive 'Can Do' attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must undergo a DBS check for this role
  • Must be reasonably physically fit as heavy lifting involved
Training:
  • Drivers will be required to take a written assessment and driving assessment followed by 5 hour induction
  • Industry related training and ongoing support
