Experienced Civils Based Site Agent required.Site Agent – Civil Engineering – KentBCS Connect is working with a highly respected civil engineering contractor who is seeking an experienced Site Agent to manage civil engineering projects across Kent.As a Site Agent, you will take the lead on projects involving highways, earthworks, and structures, ensuring delivery to the highest standards. You will bring solid experience managing civil engineering projects for a main contractor and have a strong background in similar schemes.The RoleYou will oversee site staff, operatives, and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification. Your responsibilities will include preparing method statements, hazard risk assessments, and project management plans. You will monitor contract costs against budgets, manage and update programmes of work, and oversee the assessment and engagement of subcontractors. Additionally, you will coordinate design activities and maintain detailed site records.RequirementsYou will hold a relevant industry qualification such as HND, HNC, or BEng, along with an up-to-date SMSTS certificate and an appropriate CSCS card. You will be confident managing works against a programme and budget, able to prioritise your workload, and have the ability to forecast costs and programme requirements.
