- Manage group financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and management accounts.
- Collaborate with departments to provide financial insights that support strategic goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Ensure efficient cash flow management and optimise working capital.
- Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes.
- Mentor and develop the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within a large organisation.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving financial challenges.
- A competitive salary in the range of £65,000 to 70,000, depending on experience.
